THE HOUSE ON THE MOUNTAIN CAN NOT BE HIDDEN.
HRH,CHRIS IJALE, Ad’utu Obi and the Chairman of Ito Area Traditional council who is also the custodian of tradition and culture of Ito People was today honoured with a Prestigious Merit Award as an “Epitome of transparent traditional ruler” by the National Union of Nigerian Media Executives in his provisional Palace,Obarike Ito.
Presenting the award of honour on behalf of the union, Comr.Timothy Atoza and Godwin Uduh- National chairman and Secretary respectively lauded his openness and transparency in his kingdom that necessitated beaming of the light.
In their separate remarks,Chief Obagi Ode of EKE-Chiefdom, Amos Ogboro of Adiko representing Chief Felix Arubi of Edumoga Chiefdom and Patrick Obonyi thanked the organization for considering their boss worthy of the award among others and promised never to take the gesture for granted.

In his respond, HRH Chief Chris Ijale appreciated them for acknowledging his little efforts even from distance.
HRH charged them that,the Media as a watch dog of the society should maintain their professional ethics which is balance,prominency and objectivity and shun brand envelope journalism.He opined that,once the equity and justice is maintained,there will be peace among the people.
