Most used social media platforms owned by one of the richest man alive, Mark Zuckerberg are currently suffering downtime. Over 3 billion of the users of the social media Apps all over the world have been left stranded since 4:00PM on Monday 4th September, 2021. This makes the second time internet users will experience such downtime in 2021.
Why Facebook Instagram and WhatsApp Are Currently Down
Meanwhile, the official Facebook Twitter account has reported the issue, giving it’s users across the globe an assurance of resumption online soonest. The tweet reads “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”

Similarly, @InstagramComms published a post on it’s official Twitter handle, “Instagram and friends are having a little bit of a hard time right now, and you may be having issues using them. Bear with us, we’re on it! #instagramdown.” this is a very serious issue as millions of business must have lost millions across the globe.
