Benue just lost one of the most popular duo in the Nigeria Music Industry, Mike Aboh to the cold hands of death. Michael Aboh is a Tiv guy from Benue State, while his second Al-hassan Ibrahim is from Kogi and they both rose to stardom with their popular song, “Kerewa” in 2004.
The news which was broken at about 11am on 4th of June by the president, Association of Benue Entertainers (ABE), was a total shock to the Benue entertainment industry. Reacting to his death, Mr Yukay, a member of ABE, Lagos Branch expressed shock and lamented that his death is a big loss to Benue Entertainment Industry.

According to Comrade Akimbo, President ABE Worldwide, in a chat with Igedeonline.com’s correspondent, late Mike Aboh met his death in his bathroom. He was a victim of technology, as he slipped and fell on the tiles, after mistakenly matching a soap on the tile. He was rushed to the hospital, but he couldn’t make it after hours of trying to resuscitate him. In his words:

“He wasn’t sick. It was in his bathroom that he mistakenly stepped on the soup he was using to bath. He slipped, fell and hit his head on something. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but he couldn’t survive it. It happened yesterday evening.
Rest in peace, the great music legend, Mike Aboh of Zule Zoo.
