Oju/Obi HoR: How Rt. Hon Okwu Won PDP Primaries
Right honourable Samson Ajah Okwu has won the PDP Primary Election held at Oju local government Pavilion, Oju Benue State. The election which was declared inconclusive on Sunday 22nd May, due to security threat, was rescheduled for 23rd May where the people’s leader floored his opponent, Major General Ede Ode.
Rt. Honourable Okwu who won the election with 45 votes received accolades for pulling more than the half of the total votes of 71. According to Mr James Igiri who gave the report, Major General Ede scored 25 votes, leaving the Lion of Igede politics as the party’s flag bearer.

Igedeonline.com gathered that Chief Olókó, one of the contestants for Oju/Obi Federal House of Representatives seat under PDP as well, is currently reaching out to the vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo for possible next move.

Rt. Honourable Okwu who is PDP flag bearer, now awaits the winner of the All Progressive Congress party primary elections, to battle with in the 2023 General Election. Who would that be? Evangelist Ogewu or Hon. Peter Egbodo?
