Award winning Befelow Uk in September 4th 2009 changed the narrative of the Igede music industry when he released this evergreen Masterpiece, Igede Agba aka Ego Ny’Igede. The song made his name ‘Befelow’ a household name and gave him an award “most outstanding artiste in Igede” in 2010 when he launched the dramatic video.
The song remains the greatest digital record ever made in the history of Igede speaking tribe of Benue State. Igede Agba is a song that narrates the history of the Igede people, their way of life, entertainment etc. The song has since given birth to several other songs with the title “Igede Agba” by several Igede artistes. It is a song that is so encompassing, having 8 minutes and some seconds.

When asked what inspired the song, the Agba Master explains that he had heard so much about the celebration and how his father as the Chief of the Igede people in Olodo and Odeda part of Ogun State held the celebration in high esteem. He explained how his father would call Igede singers and entertainers then to celebrate and merry together during the celebration. He had met with Igede musicians like Late Ogbu Eworo, Late Fancy Ajah, Joe Fashion and others during such Celebration as a child at Olodo and Odeda in Odeda local government area. Igede Agba is such a remarkable day then and that inspired him to write the song. He then made a song to make such a celebration worthwhile with a touch of how the celebration came to be. Till date, the celebration is still the major Celebration in the lives of true Igede people.
