The Igede People have a unique music style that is peculiar to them. There are so many music styles that were originated by them, among them are Ogirinye, aita, opese, imeje, ihii, ijwuo etc. These styles of music are unique and are only played by the Igede people, before the coming of the Christian religious that swept the styles of music.
Ogirinye particularly is a style played by a certain cult group in Igede. It is not played untill a remarkable event is to take place and untill one of the cult group members dies. But today, the style has changed from what it used to be as everyone dances it freely without being seen as going against the rule of the group members.
Befelow blends the local sounds like ogirigbo, uba, flute, conga, icheke that constitutes the musical instruments used in playing Ogirinye with the modern instruments like piano, strings, ensemble etc to still get the rhythm of that original style called Ogirinye. From the melodious call and response to the lyrical delivery, the song is such an epic and evergreen piece by the Agba Master himself.
