The governor promised to erect an Army post in between the troubled area for peace to reign among the two communities, after which they proceeded to Aliade where a more extended Meeting was conducted. According to our reliable source, the followings were the resolutions made at the meeting.

✓That the youths of the both communities shall sheath their swords and make peace. The alleged Youth leader from Tiv land who had refused to sign the peace bill all this while also cooperated and had signed the bill presented by the governor.

✓That the governor also promised to construct the Oju-Awajir road and awarded the contract to a yet to know contractor to the tune of 400 million naira. However, he said the work shall begin after the rainy season.
✓That the two local government council Chairmen shall meet and come to terms as to where the security post shall be mounted and when it shall be mounted.
✓That the formal and permanent demarcation shall commence as soon as dry season comes. The reason for the postponment, according to the governor is because of raining season and the surveyor’s inability to carry out the boundary demarcation easily during raining season.

Igede Ihyoo!!!
That is good idea I pray that it should be done quickly because picin wey say Im mama no go sleep im self no go sleep
I hope this is not another unfulfilled promise, especially on the road.
The resolution is not bad if it is implemented. There is no serious rain this side that could stop implementation now so long as human lives are involve. Let the resolution be fully implemented now to avoid further disaster.
The steps they took is good, but postponement and delay is very dangerous since there is no much rain.
Okey let us wait and see the promise to be fulfilled within the two committee. If not from now till dry season in enough for arrow to fly away without no the controller.
I pray this promise is not forgotten.
As per politicians; it is if you have see that you know.
Wow Igede online well done am super proud of you ? cheers
Good one.
